PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Mini pleat air filters incorporate maximum filtration into an 1/2-inch through 12-inch filter frame with the Mini Pleat panel filter. Mini pleat air filters incorporate all of the best in filtration technology. At over five times the media area as compared to a standard pleated panel filter, mini pleat air filters last longer and offer higher efficiency. A 4" Mini Pleat air filter has comparable surface area to a 12" ASHRAE CELL. The media is a single web of gradient density fibers, which achieves high dust holding, high efficiency and a lower pressure drop. The pleats are rigid using glue bead separators and evenly spaced to maintain even loading and air distribution. The entire filter is constructed of polypropylene which offers several advantages. One is that the filter does not support the growth of bacteria, fungi, or mold. Another benefit is that the filter will not corrode or degrade over an extended service period, even under high humidity conditions.

AFI specializes in custom mini pleats from 7/8" - 6" thick. Small or large quantities available.
