Diffuser Section Air Filter Housing Overview:

The diffuser section is installed in the same fashion as an air filter housing. The diffuser section can also be installed upstream of a filter housing. The housing can guarantee that filters load evenly and operate at designed velocity, therefore increasing the life and performance of the filters. The diffuser section is completely factory assembled with 1" turned our flanges for easy installation to any Air Filters, Inc. filter housing or any other air handling unit.

Air Filters, Inc. offers optional construction on the SAHBs including metal type, special flanged, insulation, weatherproofing, custom sizes, and any specified construction applications.

Standard Construction:

Sizes: Available sizes start from 1/2 high x 1/2 wide and range up to 4 high x 6 wide up to 12" in depth.
Cabinet: 16 gauge galvanized steel.
Diffuser Plate: 16 Gauge galvanized perforated. Holes shall be 3/16" on 1/4" centers, 51% total open area, with resistance not to exceed .01"W.G. at 500 fpm.
Finish: Mill finish interior and exterior.
Reinforcement: Vertical supports on units 2 wide and over are proved typically on every 24" centers. Corner gussets are also provided for rigidity.
